After a disappointing World FITASC Championship in Hungary for me, I was eager to focus on my shooting and get back at it. I had a great time at Creswell Clay Target Sport for this 2021 Oregon State Championship. Excellent set of technical and tricky targets by Homer Hansen and blessed to finish Main Event HOA with an 11-target lead (192/200), Friday 5-Stand HOA (46/50) and Saturday 5-Stand HOA (48/50) after a tougher start on the Prelim (89/100) earlier in the week. Overall a great way to get ready to head East for the OH State Championship, the North Central Regionals and the NV State Championship.

Après un décevant championnat du Monde de Parcours de Chasse en Hongrie, j’avais à coeur de retrouver les terrains de compétitions et frapper du poing sur la table. Ce championnat de l’Oregon, fort de près de 200 tireurs, fut une réussite, tant sur le plan de l’organisation que sur le plan des résultats personnels. Sur des tracés techniques et vicieux par Homer Hansen, je suis heureux de terminer premier au scratch sur la compétition principale (192/200, à 11 plateaux du second), premier au scratch sur les deux compétitions de 5-stand (46/50 et 48/50), après un démarrage plus laborieux sur le prelim (89/100 et 3e au scratch). Au final, une belle préparation pour les échéances à venir sur août : Championnat d’Ohio, Championnats régionaux du Centre Nord et Championnat du Nevada.
